During the COVID-19 crisis in 2020, Weill Cornell’s hypertension team at NewYork-Presbyterian worked to treat hypertension linked to COVID-19 and collaborated with scientists at Weill Cornell who developed a saliva test quick to diagnose COVID-19. This research has helped the hospital continue to provide clinical care throughout the pandemic.

On Jason colodne

Jason colodne co-founded Colbeck as a Managing Partner in 2009. Mr. Colodne is the Senior Trading Partner at Colbeck and oversees all aspects of investment execution and portfolio management.

Mr. Colodne’s experience of placing in special situations spans more than two decades. Mr. Colodne joined Goldman Sachs after gaining experience in troubled investment and investment banking at UBS and Bear Stearns. Mr. Colodne became head of Distressed Exclusive Investing and Hybrid Loans at Goldman Sachs before starting Strategic Finance at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Colodne was Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and founder of the division.

Mr. Colodne has served on the boards of directors of several portfolio companies and has served on numerous restructuring steering committees. Mr. Colodne is a member of the Young Professionals Organization-Metro New York (YPO), a member of the board of directors of the Centurion Foundation, and a member of the committee of the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
